PCS Alum and LCS

This is a guest post from Berkley Glazer, former Chemistry teacher and Assistant Principal at Pacific Christian School. We have several PCS grads who are now teachers at PCS, and it is great to hear of others contributing as Christian educators at other schools as well.

Mr. Glazer here with a report on two PCS alumni that are seeking to be Kingdom   change agents. In April of this year, I had the opportunity to hire Trevor Smale to teach French at Langley Christian Middle School where I am the Principal. Trevor recently moved to Abbotsford. He is engaged and getting married this summer. He is a talented teacher and is loving working in a Christian environment were he can openly talk about God and the importance of having a relationship with Him.

In March of this year, I was able to hire Brad Spelt to be a Grade 6 teacher starting in September 2016. Brad is currently living in Airdrie Alberta; he is married and is teaching in the Calgary Public School District. Brad is in his first year of teaching and has quickly realized that he wants to make a change and come back to his roots in Christian Education. Brad is excited to put his beliefs and values into his classroom and lessons.

As a Christian School Principal, it is exciting when former students come back into my life. Both Trevor and Brad were elementary students at PCS while I was the Assistant Principal at the elementary campus from 1995-2001. It brings joy to my heart when alumni step out and follow Gods calling in their lives.
